Dr. Anselm Vogler

Research Focus

Anselm Vogler conducts research in the field of peace and conflict studies, with a particular focus on environmental and climate-related issues. His work centers on environment-related conflict dynamics, national climate security policies, and the security-policy framing of ecological crises. Another key area of focus is national security strategies and the question of how states integrate climate change, environmental change, and resource conflicts into their security policy concepts. In addition, he examines the relationship between the military, the environment, and climate, particularly the ecological impacts of the operation and deployment of armed forces.
